A PASSION THAT STARTED IN NEW YORK
Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, my journey in aesthetics took me to New York City, where I pursued my education and became a licensed aesthetician in 2008.
I began my career in a medical spa, where I was introduced to advanced laser technology and results-driven skin treatments. That early experience ignited my passion for medical aesthetics and laid the foundation for a career dedicated to combining science, technology, and artistry to achieve meaningful results.
I quickly discovered that my passion extended far beyond traditional skincare. I was fascinated by the science of skin, the evolution of aesthetic technology, and the ability to create visible improvements through thoughtfully selected treatments.
Over the next 18 years, I dedicated myself to refining my expertise in one of the world's most influential beauty and aesthetics markets.
After years of building my career in New York, returning home to Charlotte marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter: bringing that experience, knowledge, and passion into a space entirely my own.
New York refined my craft. Charlotte brought me home.
ELEVATED EXPERTISE
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working alongside dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and leading professionals in medical aesthetics.
My experience spans advanced laser modalities, skin tightening, body contouring, facial rejuvenation, and professional skincare protocols. I've earned certifications across numerous aesthetic technologies, trained extensively with medical-grade skincare brands, and completed professional certifications with PCA SKIN, VI PEEL & SkinCeuticals.
As my career progressed, I went on to work in one of New York City's most prestigious dermatology and aesthetics practices, caring for a discerning clientele that included A-list celebrities, supermodels, and some of the city's most prominent individuals.
From preparing skin for red carpets and exclusive galas to developing comprehensive treatment plans, I learned that exceptional results require more than sophisticated technology. They demand experience, precision, discretion, and a genuine understanding of the individual behind the skin.
Over the years, I've performed thousands of consultations and treatments, while also sharing my knowledge through hands-on training with aestheticians, physicians, and medical assistants.
I've also had the opportunity to share my expertise through magazine interviews and editorial features, with my name and professional insights appearing in published media.
These experiences have shaped the way I approach every client, every treatment, and every recommendation.

I've always believed in results-driven aesthetics.
My approach is rooted in the belief that meaningful improvements sometimes require commitment, consistency, and treatments that go beyond the surface. I value advanced technology, professional-grade skincare, and techniques that deliver genuine benefits—not simply the latest trends.
I don't believe in recommending a treatment or product unless I truly believe it can serve a purpose.
Every recommendation I make is guided by experience, honesty, and a deep respect for the trust my clients place in me. My goal is to develop thoughtful, personalized treatment plans that prioritize both immediate improvements and long-term skin health.
While results are at the heart of what I do, the relationships I've built throughout my career have been just as meaningful.
Some of my most rewarding moments haven't been about the treatments themselves, but about watching someone regain their confidence, feel comfortable in their own skin, or simply leave feeling better than when they arrived.

A NAME WITH A MEANING
After 18 years of refining my skills and helping others feel their best, I knew it was time to create something of my own.
Lumiana was born from two inspirations.
Lumi — representing light, radiance, and the beauty of transformation.
Ana — honoring my mother, whose entrepreneurial spirit, strength, and determination have been a lasting inspiration in my life.
My mother believed in creating opportunities, following her own path, and building something meaningful. Her example helped inspire the courage to finally pursue a dream I had carried throughout my career.
Together, they form Lumiana—a name that represents both where I come from and what I hope to bring into the world.
A place where experience meets intention, where science and artistry work together, and where every client receives the same thoughtful, personalized attention I've devoted my career to providing.
LOOKING AHEAD
Lumiana Skin Lab is the beginning of a larger vision.
My goal is to create a destination for advanced skin treatments, professional skincare, education, and honest guidance.
As Lumiana grows, I envision expanding into carefully curated skincare products, professional consulting, and hands-on education for the next generation of aestheticians.
Early in my career, I learned much of what I know through experience, persistence, and a willingness to keep growing. I hope to create opportunities for emerging professionals to gain the practical knowledge, mentorship, and confidence I once wished had been more accessible.
Above all, I want Lumiana to represent a standard of care built on expertise, integrity, and genuine passion.
